Around 4:30AM, Kevin and Howie decided to go get coffee. When they got back, they had boxes of donuts and muffins and seven cups of coffee.
"What did you do? Buy the whole store." Brian asked. "Most of it." Howie said. "Have you guys heard anything?" Kevin asked while Howie was giving everybody their coffee. "Nope." Nick said.
They all sat down to wait some more. Just then, Amanda came running through the door.
"What are you doing here?" Brian asked. "I called her." Katelyn said. "Why?" "So that she could tell Stephanie's parents and because she is Stephanie's sister but I didn't think she was going to show up. Actually I told her not to." "Then why are you here?" Brian asked Amanda. "Because I am Stephanie's sister and I am worried." she said. "You may be worried but you don't care about her." AJ said. "How could you say that?" "Because it's the truth. You are jealous so when bad things happen to her, you are the happiest person ever." Amanda didn't say anything. "See what I mean." AJ said while he walked out of the room. "All we know is that she hasn't come to yet and now I think it would be the best if you left." Nick said as he got up to go find AJ. Brian was at his heels.
They walked through the halls looking for AJ. When they got to ICU, they stopped and looked in the window at Stephanie.
"Bri, Can I tell you something?" Nick asked. "Yeah." "You promise you won't tell AJ?!" "Yeah. Nick, What's up?" "This morning, me, Katelyn, and Stephanie went out for coffee and we ran into Sam at the coffee place. So Stephanie pretended to be my girlfriend." "Nick, did you kiss her?" "Yeah." "Nick, how could you do that? You know she is going with AJ." "I know. But she did it to help me out and now look at her. She's hooked up to all those diffferent machines. She doesn't deserve this." "I know. We all feel sorry for her. Don't blame yourself for this. It wasn't your fault." "Are you going to tell AJ?" "No, this is between, me, you, Stephanie, and Katelyn." "Thanks, man." "Anytime. Now let's go find AJ."
The walked through the rest of the halls, looking for him. They couldn't find him so they looked outside.
"We have been looking for you everywhere." Nick said. "You found me." "Why did you leave?" "Because I don't like Amanda." "Neither do we." "Did she leave yet?" "Yeah." "Then let's go back inside."
When they got back inside, the doctor was in the waiting room talking to Katelyn. The three guys stood by the door until the doctor walked away. They walked over to Katelyn, who didn't look happy.
"So?" AJ asked. "Well, she still hasn't come to and they still don't know what she has but the doctors think that it is something bad but they are not sure." Katelyn said, "Why don't you guys go home and get some rest? You look beat." "No, I'm not going anywhere." AJ said. "Neither are we." Brain said for him and Nick. Howie and Kevin didn't say anything because they were asleep in chairs across the room. The guys and Katelyn sat down and watched TV and waited for more news.
