~~~~~~~The next day~~~~~~~
Stephanie and Katelyn were on their way to the airport. Stephanie asked Katelyn, "Do you like Bri?"
"You promise you won't tell him." "Promise." "Yes, I do."
Stephanie and Katelyn were in the room waiting for them when Stephanie's cell phone rang.
"Hello?" "Hey, It's AJ. We should be walking through the door, right about now."
She hung up her phone and ran over to him. She gave him a hug. Everybody else got off the plane. They exchanged their 'Hellos'. Then they left the airport. Everybody (Kevin, Howie, AJ, Brian, Nick, Katie, Katrina) came over to Stephanie's house for dinner. They were also spending the night because they were going to 'DisneyWorld' (r) tomorrow. That night, Stephanie and AJ were up in her room; talking.
"Nick, was not himself on this last tour." "What do you mean?" "He would mope around the room. When we were talking on the phone, he would sigh and leave the room. He would mess up at our concerts, he wouldn't sing his parts. He wouldn't go to practices. Stuff like that." "He would do this because of me." "Yeah." "Why?" "Because he's really upset that you don't want anything to do with him."
All of a suddden, they heard yelling from downstairs. They looked at each other and then ran down the stairs. Stephanie tripped and fell into AJ. It was Nick and Brian.
"Get over it. She doesn't want anything to do with you." Brian said. "But?" Nick said. "But what, Nick? You brought this upon yourself. You said something that you shouldn't have." "I know but it was a mistake." Stephanie interrupted them. "Stop yelling. I don't want anything to do with Nick because of something that happened between him and me. Ok. I can take care of it myself." "Then, why are you always running to AJ?" Nick asked. "Because." "Because why?" "Because he's been there for me through all of this besides Brian." "Why don't you go running to Brian then?" "I don't know." "It's because you like AJ, don't you. We all know that you do." "Shut up, Nick." AJ said.
Stephanie slapped Nick across the face. Then she walked upstairs to the bathroom and slammed the door. AJ looked at Nick and asked, "What is you problem?"
Nick just looked at the floor.
"Your just out to hurt her aren't you?" "No, I like her alright. But it doesn't matter because your in the picture." "What is that supposed to mean?" "Yeah, What is that supposed to mean?" Stephanie asked.
They were both looking at Nick. Katie, Kevin, Howie, Katrina, Katelyn, and Brian decided to go outside.
"Answer my question, Nick." she said. "Ever since, that day on the plane all you have wanted was AJ. When you called, when you picked them up at the airport. That has been all you wanted." he said. "What do you mean?" "Everytime you called the hotel and your best friend, Brian, picked up you asked for AJ. When anybody else picked up you asked for AJ. At the airport today, you ran right to AJ. On the plane a while ago, the only way you would stop crying was if you were in AJ's arms. See what I mean?" "Are you jealous?" Nick just looked at the floor. "Are you?" He still didn't answer. "Nick, Are you jealous? Answer me." "Yes, Ok. I'm jealous. Are you happy now?" "I'm sorry. I didn't know." "Well, now you do. I think I should get going."
Nick then walked out and drove away. Stephanie sat down on the couch and said, "Now that you know the truth, you probably don't want anthing to do with me."
"Actually, I'm kind-of flattered. There's something I need to tell you." "What?"
He leaned down and kissed her. When they pulled away, he whispered, "I like you, too." He sat down next to her and kissed her again.
A couple of minutes later, the front door opened, Stephanie and AJ didn't hear it open and close and they were caught making out on the couch.
"Finally." Brian said.
Stephanie and AJ pulled apart and Stephanie said, "Excuse me?!"
"Finally." Brian said again. "What do you mean by that?" "Everybody knew you two liked each other. Especially because AJ wouldn't stop talking about you. He also wouldn't stop worrying about you."
Stephanie looked at AJ. AJ just said, "Will you go out with me?" She didn't know what to say. She nodded her head and then said, "Yes."
AJ hugged her. She then decided that she wanted to go to bed. She kissed AJ on the cheek and went to bed. When she got up to her room, she called Nick's house. His mom picked up the phone.
"Hi, Mrs. Carter. It's Stephanie. Did Nick get home ok?" "Yeah. Do you want to talk to him?" "No, that's alright. I'll see you later, Mrs. Carter." "Ok, Bye."
She hung up the phone and went to sleep.
