AJ and Stephanie were still a couple. Brian finally got up enough courage to ask Katelyn out. They were really happy. They decided to go out that night and celebrate.
Stephanie and Katelyn were upstairs in Stephanie's room looking for pretty dresses when Stephanie said, "I have been going out with AJ much longer than two hours."
"What do you mean?" Katelyn asked. "When I was going out with Nick, we went out for like 2 hours then he dumped me." "Oh. Why are you thinking about him anyway?" "I don't know. Why?" "No reason." "Oh. Why don't we go shopping for new dresses?" "I don't have any money." "Neither do I but I think we might be able to get some from AJ and Brian." "Ok."
They walked downstairs. Stephanie sat down next to AJ on the couch. "Yes?" he asked. "Can I have some money?" "Why?" "Because I want to look pretty tonight." "But you always look pretty." "Thank you. But I want to look extra pretty."
AJ got up and walked away. He came back with his wallet. He handed her $200 dollars. She leaned over and kissed him. Then she walked out the door and got in her car which Katelyn was waiting in. They drove away.
"What store do you want to go to?" Stephanie asked. "Deb's." Katelyn said.
