Stephanie got up early. She took a shower and then got dressed. Then she went downstairs to get something to eat. AJ was already in the kitchen when she got there. She went to give him a kiss but he turned away.
"What is the matter?" she asked. "Your sister, Amanda, told me that after I left, you were making out with Nick." "No. He left around the same time you did." "How do I know your not lying to me?" "Because I thought you trusted me." "Actually, you broke that when you lied yesterday." "What?" "Well, you told me that it was a girl's night and when I got there you were dancing with Nick." "Katie invited him. I didn't know he was going to be there. I thought he was sick." "It is going to hurt me for saying this because I really like you but I don't think we should see each other anymore."
Stephanie was crying her eyes out by this time. She was so upset that she had to leave. She turned around and ran out of the kitchen. She grabbed her keys and drove to Katie's house. She ran up to the door at Katie's house and banged on it. A couple minutes later, Kevin came to the door.
"Ohmigod." he said, "What happened?" "AJ dumped me." He gave her a hug. Then she followed him to the living room and sat on the couch. Katie, Katrina, Howie, and Nick had been in the kitchen when they heard crying come from the living room. They all walked into the living room to find Stephanie sitting on the couch, with Kevin, crying. They were all shocked to hear that AJ had dumped Stephanie. They were shocked because he really liked her and they thought they were meant to be.
~~~~~~~Meanwhile at Stephanie's house~~~~~~
Brian came downstairs to AJ sitting at the kitchen table staring out the window.
"Where's Amanda?" he said to Brian. "Upstairs I'll get her." He walked to the stairs and screamed, "AMANDA!!" She came running down the stairs. "AJ wants you." She walked in the kitchen with Brian at her heels.
"I did the most stupidest thing because of you." AJ said to Amanda. Brian turned around and was about to leave when AJ said, "Stay."
Brian went over to the table and sat down. "What did I do?" Amanda asked innocently. "You know very well what you did." "No, I don't." she said innocently again. "Just confess." "Whatever could you be talking about?" "Go ask Stephanie. She can tell you." "Tell me what." "When we got home last night you told me that Stephanie and Nick were making out at the club and when I confronted her, I found out it wasn't true. I made the biggest mistake of my life." "Oh, that." "Yes, that." AJ then stormed out of the kitchen.
~~~~~~~~Back at Katie's house~~~~~~~
"We need to go tot he recording studio. Do you want to come?" Howie asked Stephanie. "Sure."
Howie and Katrina went in one car and Kevin, Katie, Nick, and Stephanie went in Stephanie's car. When they got to the recording studio, Brian, Katelyn, and AJ were already there. AJ walked over to her.
"Can we talk?" he asked. "Why so you can hurt me some more?" "Can't I just explain?" Stephanie just walked away.
AJ told the guys that he wanted to sing a song for Stephanie. They sung 'No One Else Comes Close.' Stephanie couldn't take it anymore so she left. AJ ran after her but by the time he got outside she was already gone. He didn't really want to sing anymore. He went back upstairs and told Donna. She let him and the rest of the guys go early. When they all got back to Stephanie's house, they found Stephanie laying on the floor.
"Ohmigod." Brian said. Brian ran to her side. He picked her up off the floor. "AJ, can you drive us to the hospital?" "Yeah, sure." When they got to the hospital, the doctors were asking Brian what happened and all he said was, "I wasn't there."
~~~~~~~~A while later~~~~~~~
The doctors came in the waiting room. Brian and AJ stood up.
"How is she?" Brian asked. "We think she is going to be ok but we are not sure. She is suffering a mild concussion. We are hoping she wakes up soon." the doctor said. (Author's Note: I'm not a doctor. I'm just making this up as I go along.) "Can we see her?" AJ asked. "Ummm, sure. One at a time though." the doctor said. "Thank you." Brian said. The doctor nodded and then walked away. "Go ahead." Brian said. "Thank you." AJ said as he stood up and walked out of the waiting room.
He walked down the hallway to her room. He hesitated then went in the room.
~~~~~~~Elsewhere in the hospital~~~~~~~
Nick, Katie, Katrina, Katelyn, Howie, Kevin, and Amanda came running into the waiting room. Katelyn gave Brian a hug.
"How is she?" Nick asked. "Well, she's not awake yet. It's too early to tell if she is going to be ok. She is suffering from a mild concussioon." Amanda looked at the floor. "Wow!" Nick said, "Are we allowed to see her?" "One at a time and AJ is there right now."

He walked over to the side of the bed, looked at Stephanie, grabbed a chair, and then sat down.
"I know that you probably can't hear me but I'm going to talk anyway. I'm really sorry for what I did before. Your sister told me that you were cheating on me by making out with Nick but after I confronted you, I knew it wasn't true. I wish you could hear me and know that I'm really sorry." he said, "And that....I love you."
All of a sudden, Stephanie twitched. A couple of minutes later, her eyes opened. AJ ran out into the hallway and down to the waiting room.
"She's awake." he said to everybody. They all ran down the hall to Stephanie's room.
The doctor saw this and followed. They all stayed with Stephanie until they had to leave but AJ stayed over night.
After everybody left, Stephanie tried to talk to AJ but he was dosing off in the chair by her bed.
"AJ?!" "Yeah." "Can I tell you something?" "Ummm, yeah." When she looked over at him, his eyes were closed so she thought he was sleeping but she said it anyway, "I love you too, AJ." He turned his head towards the door and smiled. Then Stephanie layed her head down and went to sleep.
