"I'll get it." Brian said, "Hello?" "Bri?! It's Stephanie. Can I talk to AJ?" "Yeah, hold on."
A couple of minutes later, AJ came on. "Hey, Babe. Wassup?!" "Ummm. I'm at Katie's house." "Honey, What's the matter?" "I need to talk to you. Can you come over here?" "Alright, I'll be over in a few. Bri, too?" "Yeah, sure. Please hurry." "Ok." She hung up the phone and went back to the living room.
Stephanie sat back down on the couch next to Nick. She was shaking really bad. Nick put his arm around her to calm her down. 10 minutes later, there was a knock at the door. Katie went to answer it. She came back with AJ and Brian. AJ saw Stephanie shaking very badly on the couchwith Nick's arm around her and everybody else looking at the ground.
"What happened here?" AJ asked giving Nick a wierd look. Stephanie got up and told AJ to sit down. "Why?" "Because we need to talk." "No, that's alright. I can stand. Why are you shaking?" "Ummm. I don't know where I should start." "What the hell is going on here?"
Stephanie gave AJ a hug. "AJ, I love you but..." "But what?" "I haven't actually been telling you the whole truth." "What are you talking about?" "I know you haven't wanted me to see Nick because of what he has done to me but you know how I told you that me and Katelyn just went out for coffee this morning, well that isn't it." "What?" "I met Nick at the mall this morning and I have talked to him on the phone and..." "There's more?" "Yeah. I also went to the club with him. I am so sorry that I didn't tell you."
After that she grabbed her keys and went outside. She got in her car and drove away. She decided she didn't want to go home so she waited awhile. (She drove around for awhile.)
"Did all of you guys know about this?" AJ asked. They all shook their heads. "Why didn't she tell me?" he asked. "Because she didn't want to hurt you." Brian said. "Then why did she tell me now?" "Because we pressured her into it." Howie said. "Then this is all you faults?" "Yeah, including Amanda. She was the one who told us. Brian, Katelyn, and Nick had nothing to do with this." Howie said. "How could you do this to her?" Nobody answered. "What you people don't like the idea that we are together? I just got her back and then you have to pull this. I got to find her." He walked outside with Brian and Katelyn following.
They drove around for awhile. Then they finally decided to go home. She wasn't there when they got there. It was around 10:00.
