~~~~~~~That night~~~~~~~
Stephanie got to her house around 6:00. She went up to her room and got some clothes. While she was packing, Brian came in her room.
"Do you have to go?" "Yes. I think it would be the best thing right now." "Please don't go." "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't go." "Because...Ummm! I don't know. All I know is that I would miss you too much." "I'm going to miss you too but it's the best thing." "You don't mean that." "What?" "Can't you and AJ just make up?" "Not this time." "Do you miss him?" "Yeah, I do but he's the one that decided we shouldn't talk to each other or even look at each other." she said while picking up her suitcase. "Gimme." Brian said while taking her suitcase. "Thank you." Stephanie said.
He smiled at her and he walked her to her car. When they got outside, they saw AJ standing by her car. They kept walking. When they got to her car AJ asked her, "Can't you just listen to me?" "No. Can't you just leave me alone?" "No. Just talk to me." "Your the one who decided we shouldn't talk to each other." "I'm sorry I said that. I didn't mean it. I was mad." "Well you said it. I've now decided that I don't want to talk to you so could you move?" "No." "Please." "Not till you forgive me." "AJ, don't be like this. Please move." "No."
Stephanie got really mad so she smacked AJ across the face. "Now, I know everybody is out to hit me." "AJ, just leave me alone." AJ said, "Fine." then walked away.
Stephanie got in her car after she got her suitcase from Brian. She was about to pull away when she got out of the car. She walked over and gave Brian a hug. Before they pulled apart from each other, Brian said, "Are you sure you have to go?"
"Well now, yes." "Why?" "Because I wouldn't feel comfortable." "I'm going to miss you, Steph." "I already miss you."
Stephanie turned around to go to her car when Brian called her name. "Yeah?" she said as she turned around. "Nevermind." "Ok. Wait a minute."
She went to her car and wrote something down on a piece of paper. She went back over to Brian and handed him the paper.
"Call me later." she said. He nodded. Then she gave him a kiss. She got back in the car and drove away.
Brian went back in the house. He went in the kitchen and found AJ getting some ice.
"Do you always have to be like this?" Brian asked. "She started it." "You sound like a 5 year old." "Well, how would you like it if the girl you love wouldn't talk to you?" "First of all, AJ you were the one who decided that and second, probably really down." "Is everybody going to remind me of that?" "Sorry." "That's alright."
Then the phone rang. Brian picked it up. "Hello?" "Is Stephanie there?" "No. Can I take a message?" "Yeah, just tell her Tyler called." "Is there a number?" "She knows it." "Ok." "Bye." Brian hung up the phone and went upstairs to find Katelyn.
He found her in her room. "Kate, I have an idea." "What?" "Everytime I talk to AJ he always says how much he likes her or how much he misses Stephanie and my plan was to record him and then play it for her while we are on tour." That will work." "Also then you could tell her that you guys are going on a trip to somewhere but really come to wherever we are in Canada and we can take it from there." "I'm really liking that." "Ok, so that's a plan. I have to go call Stephanie." "Ok. See ya."
He walked out of the room. He went down the hall to his room and sat on the bed. He picked up the phone and dialed the number Stephanie gave him. "Hello?" said a unfamiliar voice. "Um. Is Stephanie there?" "Yeah. Hold on." "Ok."
A couple of minutes later, Stephanie came on the phone. "Hello?" she said. "Hey. It's Bri." "Hey. Me and Corey are going to DisneyWorld tomorrow and I was wondering if you would come?" "Yeah." "Can you come here tomorrow morning around 11?" "Yeah, but I kind-of need directions." "Ok. Let me give them to you then." Stephanie gave Brian directions to Corey's house and then Brian said,"Who's Tyler?" "My cousin, why?" "Because he called here for you." "Oh. I better go so I can find out what he wanted." "Ok, bye." "Bye." They hung up.
Then Stephanie dialed her cousin's number and talked to him for awhile.
