That night, Nick picked Stephanie up at 8:00. He bought her flowers. He knocked on the door. Nobody answered. He rang the doorbell. Brian answered the door.
"Hey, Nick." "Hey, Bri. Is Stephanie ready?"
Just then, Stephanie started walking down the stairs. All Nick could do was stand there and stare. She was wearing a tight, short, black dress. He was wearing a black suit. When she got to the door, he handed her the flowers. Stephanie handed the flowers to Brian and said, "Goodnight."
They went to dinner. Then they went to go get ice cream. Then Nick brought Stephanie home. He walked her to the door. When they got to the door, she told him that she had a good time. Stephanie gave Nick a hug and said, "Thank you for taking me out."
When they pulled apart from each other, Nick kissed her. She pulled away. Nick kissed her again and this time she didn't pull away. In the middle of their kiss, the door opened and Kevin walked out.
"Hope you two had a nice time tonight. See ya." he said not even noticing that they had been kissing.
Stephanie walked inside to find out why Kevin left. Nick waited at the door for her. She walked in the living room to see Katie kissing Howie. It turns out, the group had been playing 'Truth or Dare' and Katie was dared to kiss Howie for 30 seconds. After her 30 seconds were up, she ran out the door after Kevin. She found him sitting in his car. She asked him why he left. He said because he needed some fresh air. They walked hand-in-hand back inside. Stephanie went back to the door to find Nick still standing there.
"I think I should stay inside to be the judge of this game. We need to talk. Call me tomorrow." Stephanie said then she hugged him. "Ok." he said.
