AJ cleared his throat, "So uh Steph who was that guy?"
"That was my ex-boyfriend, he came by because he said he wanted to talk, and kissed me. God I really hate him, when we were going out he was so abusive,"at this point Stephanie was in tears. "Shhh its ok," AJ said protectively wrapping his arms around Stephanie. Stephanie felt so safe in AJ's arms, safe from Jeff, safe from Nick and safe from the world. Stephanie never really hated Nick and she knew he could be a really nice guy, but he was just to immature for her. She needed a man, a man that could treat her right, a man like AJ.
Sarah walked out of the room, she was hungry and wanted something to eat. Stephanie thought this was her perfect chance to tell AJ how she really felt. She leaned up and gave AJ a kiss with more passion than she had ever gave in her life.
AJ looked down at Stephanie and kissed the top of her head. He got off the couch, knelt down and took Stephanie's hand in his. "Stephanie, I really like you a lot. And I'm guessing you like me to, So will you go out with me?"Stephanie sat there dumb founded, "I uh, um...uh" AJ got to his feet,"Stephanie I'll never break your heart, I'll never make you cry, I sing the song remember? and I sing it with all the feeling in the world towards you. Cause that's exactly what I'll never do." Tears started to spring into Stephanie's eyes, she was not crying out of sadness she was crying out of happiness, "Yes AJ I'll go out with you." They kissed and then broke apart when they heard clapping in the kitchen door way. "Man, cuz that was beautiful, I didn't think you had that in ya." Sarah said pretending to wipe away a fake tear.
"Haha real funny!" AJ fake laughed
Sarah laughed, "I thought it was, well I'm goin to bed. I'm tried and I have jet lag, so I will see ya in the morning. And Steph, it was nice meeting you." Sarah pulled Steph aside, "You remember our little promise right? No telling AJ about me thinking Nick is cute. OK?" Stephanie grinned evilly,"Hehehe I promise."
Sarah groaned, "aww man I should of never told her that."
