Stephanie sat down next to AJ. She opened her mouth to say something but AJ did it first.
"What's going on between you two?" AJ asked looking back and forth at Nick and Stephanie. "What are you talking about?" Stephanie asked. "I think you know." "No. I don't." "I saw, Stephanie."
Stephanie and Nick looked at each other.
"I was there for you with this whole ex-boyfriend thing but then you cheat on me with another ex." AJ said. "I didn't..." Stephanie started. "Then what were you doing before?" "I didn't do it." "Sure, you didn't." "Why don't you believe me?"
Brian was now looking at them with a confused look. Nick was looking at the floor and Stephanie was crying.
When AJ didn't answer her, she got up and ran home.
What she didn't know was that she was going to get a vistor. Maybe even two.
~*That Night*~
Stephanie hadn't talked to anybody since that afternoon when she was at Nick's house. She wouldn't pick up the phone when it rang and she wouldn't get up to answer the door when somebody came.
There was a knock at the door but Stephanie didn't feel like getting up to answer it. Whoever was at the door stopped knocking and then five minutes later, they started again.
Stephanie got up and answered it because she was tired of listening to the person knock.
At the door was AJ.
"Hey, Steph. Can we talk?" he asked. "Why so you can blame me for everything?" she asked.
AJ looked at her. He could tell that she had been crying for a long time because her eyes were all red and puffy.
"Nick told me what happened." he said. "So?" "Have you been crying all this time?"
Stephanie shrugged.
"Why?" he asked. "Because I hurt you and Sarah." "How did you hurt Sarah?" "Can't say. I promised."
Then Jeff's car pulled up.
Stephanie saw it and froze. AJ looked and saw it.
"Why won't this guy give up?" AJ asked her. "Because........"
AJ went inside and pulled Stephanie with him. He shut the door and locked it. Then he went around and shut off all the lights. Then he took Stephanie into the living room and sat down on the couch and held her in his arms.
'She's so cute. I hope she'll forgive me. I'll have to do a lot of apologizing after the guy gives up and goes home.' he thought.
They listened to knocking for about 5 minutes and then Stephanie got up.
"Where are you going?" AJ asked. "He's never going to leave me alone so I'm going to just face him." Stephanie said.
Stephanie went over to the door and opened it.
"Hey, Jeff. What do you want?" Stephanie said. "Hey, baby. I want to talk. I want to get back together with you."
"First of all, my name is Stephanie not baby. Second, last time you said you wanted to talk you were all over me so that's a no and last, I'm kind-of taken and even if I was single I wouldn't go out with you again because all you did was hit me when you didn't get your way." Stephanie said.
"That's not true." he said.
"Yeah, sure. and you could hit me right now because your not getting your way and I wouldn't give a damn because there is somebody in my living room right now that would kick your ass if you did so you better leave right now and never bother me again."
Jeff turned around and left. He would never be heard from again and Stephanie went back into the living room.
"I don't think he'll be bothering me again." she said. "So you wanted to talk?"
