~*The Next Day*~
Stephanie woke up and went downstairs after she got dressed and got ready to leave. Her flight was at 2:00 in the afternoon so she still had awhile till she had to leave.
She went downstairs to find the living room empty. Then she went into the kitchen to find that empty too. So she decided to go over to Nick's house to see if AJ was there.
~*At Nick's House*~
Stephanie walked over and knocked on the door. Nick came to the door a couple minutes later.
"Hey. Did I wake you?" Stephanie asked. "No. I've been up." Nick said. "Is Sarah up yet?" "No." "Is AJ here?" "No." "I don't know where he is then." "Why?" "Because I woke up and he wasn't at my house anymore." "I know AJ really well and he would never just leave unless there was something wrong or if he just want to see the person anymore." "That's real nice to say especially since I am or I was his girlfriend." "Oh, yeah. I forgot." "That's not funny." "Well, do you want to come in?" "Sure. Why not."
Stephanie followed Nick in and they went to the living room and both sat down on the couch.
~*A Little While Later*~
Nick was watching TV and Stephanie had gone back to sleep. Her head was on Nick's shoulder and Nick's arm was on the back of the couch.
The front door opened and closed and AJ walked in.
"Yo, Nick. Have you seen Steph....." he started.
He then looked at Nick and saw Stephanie's head on his shoulder and he thought his arm was around her.
"What is going on?" AJ asked. "Nothing. We were watching TV and she fell asleep." "What was she doing over here?" "She couldn't find you and so she came over here to see if you were here or if I've seen you. Since neither of us knew where you were I invited her in." "And what happened between you two??" "Nothing. We were just watching TV. I wouldn't do that to you. I see how much you guys like each other. I would never try to ruin it." "Why don't I believe you?" "Because you probably think that because we went out and because she dumped me that I want her back." "Well, do you?" "Sort-of but I like Sarah now."
Just then Stephanie woke up and realized that AJ was standing before her. She realized that she was leaning against Nick and that probably wasn't the best thing. She immediatley sat up.
"AJ, where have you been?" she asked. "I went home to change." "Why didn't you tell me where you were going?" "Because I didn't want to wake you." "Are you mad at me?" "I don't know." "Why?" "Um. Let's think about it. I come over here and find you leaning against him sleeping and he had his arm around you." "My arm was not around her." "I'm sorry I was just tired that's all."
AJ just shrugged his shoulders.
"You know what I need to go get ready so that I can leave. Good bye." Stephanie said then she walked out.
"AJ, that was the wrong thing to do." Nick said.
Just then, Sarah walked in the room.
"What happened?" she asked. "AJ just totally hurt Stephanie." Nick said. "Why what did he do now?" "She came over here and she fell asleep and AJ walked in and he freaked out." "Why?" "Because he thought that something happened between us but nothing did."
"Oh, ok. AJ why are you just standing around?? f I was you I would go apologize to her. She is leaving today. Well so am I but still. The last thing she needs is to leave and be hurt by somebody she really loves."
AJ didn't say anything. He just walked out and over to Stephanie's. He got there and knocked on the door. She came to the door and he could tell she had been crying or she was crying. But she tried to cover it up.
"What are you doing here?" she asked. "I came to apologize." "I don't want to here it. You really hurt me and I don't want to talk to you. I didn't do anything with Nick because I love you not him but since you wouldn't let me explain that tells me that you don't love me back so right now I don't want to talk to you."
AJ softly pushed her into the house so he wouldn't hurt her and then walked in and shut the door behind him.
"Will you just listen to me?" he asked.
