"No AJ I said I don't want to hear it!" "Stephanie please let me explain!" Stephanie sighed, "Fine but you have five minutes." "Ok listen I'm really sorry I over reacted, I'm really overprotective, expecially towards the ones I love." Stephanie started to siently cry again, "Yea ok AJ I can understand that but what do I have to do to get you to trust me?" "But Steph I do trust you." "Yea you may say that AJ but actions speak louder than words. So AJ if you don't mind I'm going to go pack up the rest of my stuff." "Fine Stephanie whatever BYE!" AJ walked out the door and Stephanie ran up the stairs in tears. When she got up there she grabbed the phone and dialed Nick's number.
Nick picked up the phone, "Hello?" "Hey Nick, is Sarah there?" Yea hold on she is right here." Stephanie tried to hold back her tears, "Hello? Stephanie?" "Yea hi Sarah, um do you want to help me pack?" "Yes hold on I'll be there in a sec but I have to go change." "Ok bye" "bye"
Nick looked over at Sarah, "What did Stephanie want?" Sarah smiled at him,"Oh nothin, ya know girl talk. That kinda stuff." Nick looked sad and put a puppy dog face on, "Oh but I thought we were going to do something?" "Sorry Nick, but we will do something later, I promise!" "Ok as long as you promise." "I do." Sarah walked up stairs and got changed and then walked over to Stephanie's house. Stephanie invited her in and they went up stairs to talk and pack.
"So Stephanie what did AJ do when you guys talked?" "Well, he said that he was really overprotective to the ones that he loves, and I said I could understand that but like it makes me sad to know that he does not trust me. He said he did trust me, but I told him actions speak louder than words and he said whatever and left." Stephanie was about to say something but the phone rang, "Hello?" "Uh yea hi is Sarah there?" It was AJ. "Uh yea hold on.""Hey Sarah it's that jerk who thinks he's a guy." Sarah took the phone from Steph, "Hi AJ" "Yea hi, um listen I'm really sorry but I'm not going to go to say goodbye to you at the airport." "AJ why?" "Because she will be there!""Oh AJ grow up!! and just come, not only will it hurt me but it will really hurt her!" When Sarah said that Stephanie looked up with a hurt and confused look on her face.
"Fine AJ" "Sarah I'm really sorry, but hey since its January, how about you come back for spring break, ok?" "Fine AJ well gotta go love ya." "bye cuz" Sarah hung up the phone and turned to Steph.
"Uh that was AJ" "Yea what did he say?" "Um he said that he was not going to come to the airport." Stephanie just stood there shocked that their relationship meant nothin to him, and it maybe never did. Stephanie fell to the ground in tears, Sarah ran to her and wraped her arms around her and let her cry. When Stephanie was done crying they drug all her luggage into Nick's car, with Nick's help and drove to AJ's.
"Steph I'm goin to get my stuff, you can come in if you want." Stephanie shook her head no, so Nick and Sarah walked into AJ's house. Sarah walked in and went to her room and Nick started talking to AJ, "AJ man come Stephanie was crying so hard." "So?" "AJ that's harsh, she has been walking around like a zombie" Sarah walked down the stairs with her luggage and heard the last part of their conversation. "AJ, It's been really great to see you and I hope my mom will let me come back." Sarah gave AJ a hug and said, "Oh yea AJ if Stephanie means something to you or ever meant something don't let her go. Because I know if you let her go, you'll never get her back." And with that Sarah and Nick walked out the door.
The drive to the airport was quit and when they got there Stephanie was on the verge of crying again. Nick helped the girl with their luggage and waited Stephanie until her plane came, because Stephanie's plan came first then Sarah's. When the final bording call for Stephanie's plane came Sarah got up and hugged Stephanie, "Hey Steph, thanks for being such a great friend to me." "Yea you too, I had a lot of fun." The two girls exchanged phone numbers so they could stay in touch. Stephanie gave Nick a hug and grabbed her bookbag and started to walk towards the terminal, when she heard her name. She looked back at Nick and Sarah and they were looking around trying to see who called her.
Just when Stephanie was about to turn around and start walking she saw AJ. "AJ" She whispered.
