AJ and Stephanie were in the car on their way to AJ's mom's house. The ride was silent so AJ decided to break it.
"Katelyn thinks that you and Bri are cheating on us with each other." Stephanie laughed.
"I had the same reaction." "Why did she think that?" "Because you guys were writing something and only showing each other at dinner the other night. She was getting really jealous." "Were you jealous, too?" "No. Cause I know that you guys are really good friends and you were only having some fun."
Stephanie smiled.
"What were you guys writing anyway?" "Nothing really. We were only doing that to tease Nick." "That's something you two are good at." "I know."
They continued talking and joking with each other for the rest of the ride.
When they got to AJ's mom's house they walked up to the door and rang the doorbell. Nobody answered so AJ took out his key and unlocked the door. They walked around the house looking for AJ's mom but she was nowhere to be found. AJ and Stephanie went to the living room and sat down on the couch. They were talking for awhile and then they started making out. A couple of minutes later, they heard the front door open so they stopped. In walked AJ's mom and some other lady.
"AJ? What are you guys doing here?" "We came to visit." AJ said while him and Stephanie stood up. "Oh, AJ. This is my friend, Claudia. Claudia, this is my son, AJ and his girlfriend, Stephanie."
They exchanged their hellos and then AJ said, "Mom, me and Stephanie are engaged."
"What did you say?" "Me and Stephanie are engaged." "Really?" Stephanie nodded her head. AJ's mom smiled and gave AJ and Stephanie a hug. Then everybody sat around and talked for awhile and then AJ and Stephanie left.
