Stephanie and Amanda had just gotten back from California for their winter break. Stephanie decided to go next door and see Nick. She walked over and knocked on the door. Nobody answered. Since the door was open and Nick's car was in the driveway, she went in. She walked down the hall to the living room. Nobody was there so she went up the stairs and then down the hall to Nick's room. Nick was sitting on his bed making out with another girl. Tears started rolling down Stephanie's cheeks.
"Nick, we are over." Stephanie said.
Nick turned and looked at her.
"Steph, It's not what it looks like." "I don't want to hear it. We are over."
With that, Stephanie ran down the stairs and out of Nick's life for forever.
