BAYBERRY INN, NEXT MORNING

After a long night of making plans, Téa was set to head back to the PH. Todd was going to stay at the Bayberry, making final preparations, and he would head back to the PH later that day. Téa sat on the bed next to him, and reached down and slipped off her wedding ring.
"What are you doing?" Todd asks nervously.
"Hey, don't worry...we just don't want to tip anybody off that you're back...remember....at least until later today...I have to convince this crazy woman I actually am her little pod person."
Todd nods, still not liking that she had to take her wedding ring off. "Yeah, okay...but the minute this thing is over...that ring goes back on your finger...and doesn't come off again."
Téa smiles. "You got it Manning." She stands up and begins to gather her things.
"Okay," Todd says, standing and walking her to the door, "so you're okay with everything?"
"Yeah...just make sure you're on time, I don't want to have to chance this shower thing," Téa says, a complete look of disgust on her face.
"Don't worry....I'll be there," he says, grinning. They look at each other awkwardly for a second. Then Todd steps forward and pulls her to him, claiming her mouth in a passionate kiss. Finally, they pull apart, breathlessly.
"We'll have to finish that later," he says.
"It's a deal," Téa responds.

The screechy voiced woman sat in her office, still chain smoking and downing cups of coffee. She whipped out her planner and began to go over her day ahead.
"Okay...first stop....make sure Nora is thinking of nothing and no one but my stud Sammy. Then....off to the PH. My matinee idol will be there," she says, smiling dreamily, "putting the moves on Téa...lucky girl. I'll have to schedule a BIG block of time there....don't want to miss the shower!"
She gets up from her desk excitedly and gathers her things to go. She turns to her wall and plants kisses on Sam, John, Ben, and Kevin.
"Bye, my loves," she says, and whisks away to suck more brain cells out of Nora.

Téa was, as usual, having trouble concentrating on John.
God, this guy is such a bore! she thinks.
She had to keep her wits about her though, especially today. She looked at John, who was vainly trying to start a fire.
Téa grins sarcastically at his back. "I guess I finally found something you can't do," she says.
John answers, all superior like. "Don't ever tell a guy that he can't start a fire," he says.
Téa rolls her eyes at his back. You can't you loser, especially not in me!
Suddenly, she notices soot fall on John's head. She busts out laughing. John looks at her, thinking she's laughing adoringly at him, not realizing that this only confirms her suspicion that he is a total loser.
"Great," he says, "Hey, can I use your shower, clean up a little?"
Téa's heart stops. Man, this woman leaves nothing to chance! Oh God...Todd where are you?"
Desperately trying to think of a way to stall him, she suddenly hears "the voice".
OF COURSE HE CAN TAKE A SHOWER....YOU WANT HIM TO TAKE A SHOWER HERE...YOU WANT TO SEE HIM DRIPPING WET IN THAT SHOWER!
Before Téa can stop it, she tells John he can take a shower there. As she watches him walk up the stairs, she feels a sudden panic. She had let the voice win again. She anxiously looks at her watch, wondering where Todd is. Téa reaches into her pocket and clutches her wedding ring...it giving her strength.
Out of nowhere, again, she hears "the voice".
GO TO HIM TEA....YOU WANT HIM...WHO WOULDN'T? GO TO HIM....

As if her body was completely out of her control...she feels herself walking up the spiral staircase towards the bathroom.

The screechy voiced woman crouches in the closet of the PH's master bedroom.
What on earth is taking her so long? Come on...I want some HOT LOVIN IN THE SHOWER!
She peeks out the crack in the closet door, and sees Téa walk in, as if in a trance. The screechy voiced woman reaches down and presses "play" on her tape player. Téa's trance is suddenly broken as she hears this strange, cheesy, porno film music radiating throughout the master bedroom.
OH YEAH...NOW THIS IS MUSIC PERFECT FOR THIS HOT SCENE!the voice thinks, grooving to the cheesy music.
Téa walks slowly towards the bathroom door, trying to stop herself, clutching her wedding ring...but it's useless...her body and mind is seemingly not her own anymore.
As she reaches the bathroom door, her reverie his suddenly broken by a familiar voice shouting a very familiar word.
"DELGADO!"
Téa turns suddenly at the sound of Todd's voice, and runs screaming from the bedroom.
"Todd!"
The screechy voiced woman watches Téa run out. She frantically picks up her journal and scans it.
WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON...SHE'S SUPPOSED TO GO INTO THE SHOWER...NOT RUN SCREAMING FROM THE ROOM!
Téa runs down the PH stairs and into Todd's waiting arms.
"What the hell took you so long?" Téa asks, "Do you know how close it came to actually having to get into that shower!"
"Sorry...I had to pick up a few things," he says, holding her tight. "Are you okay?"
"I am now."
Suddenly, Todd and Téa are both shocked to see the screechy voiced woman running down the PH stairs. She stops suddenly when she sees Todd standing there, holding Téa protectively.
"OH NO...WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE! WHO LET YOU OUT!"
"I have my ways...you're slipping," Todd says, grinning.
"NO WAY...I'M STILL IN CONTROL!" SHE SAYS, AND POINTS AT TEA, "YOU! UPSTAIRS, MY MATINEE IDOL IS WAITING FOR YOU!"
"NO!" yells Téa, clutching Todd's arms.
The woman snickers evilly, and pulls a small device out of her pocket.
"OH I THINK YOU'LL DO WHAT I SAY," SHE SAYS, POINTING THE SMALL DEVICE AT TEA.
Todd looks on in shock and steps protectively in front of Téa. "Delgado, get back! She has the Llanview Brain Sucking Machine!"
