In 1974 Billy and Michael stewart teamed up again and recored "STREETLIFE SERNADE". The album featured the hit single 'The Entertainer', and garnered Billy his frist crop of music industry awards, including "Best New Vocalist" (cashbox)."Male Artist of the year" (music retailer) and "record of the year" (Stereo Review,for Piano man).
Sell-out concert performances at CARNEGIE HALL and Lincoln Center in New York City confirmed that Billy had achived permanent headliner status.
