On June 14th, 2006, Microsoft released a new patch to their Windows® operating systems to fix some known issues with the .art file format. The AOL® software uses the .art file format for some of the images used within the AOL software. Unfortunately, a side effect of this patch is these images will not render properly and will be displayed as a Red X. AOL is aware of this situation and is currently building a software enhancement to correct the affected artwork files, however, this software enhancement will take several weeks to develop and deliver to AOL members. We appreciate your patience while we work to correct this issue.
