Chemicals In Everyday Products
 

Objective-  To make students more aware of the chemicals found in all aspects of daily life, including food preparation and health care products.
 

 Procedure- Chose three items from the food, cleaning and healthcare
          categories. Using the labels from these items, research the
          ingredients listed. Try to find chemical formulas,
          production methods, hazards and other uses. This may
          involve some “digging." Some products have consumer
          hot lines or addresses for information. Don’t procrastinate.
