Rozz died on April 1, 1998. He was in such bands as Christian Death, Shadow Project, Premature Ejaculation and his self titled spoken word projects. Music was not his only art, he was also into collages, junk art and even made a short movie called PIG . I never knew the man and I ma not agree with everything he had to say, but I have always respected him as my favorite artist. He has never been an influence, but once I saw his work I felt less alone (in the sense of my art work). I thought even though he was dead he ma have saw my art the way I did. I am not so sure any more if I think he would have respect me for what I am trying to do, but ill never know now. Rozz was the God of "death rock" but even though he didn't think of him self as Goth he left a big impression on the Goth subculture. I will miss him so, even though I never knew you.

Although I've said it before, I'll say it again...
Rozz, Rest in eternal peace.
I believe Rozz still lives through his music and his arts.
(nothing spiritual or anything I mean that as long as people are still listening to his music and respecting his art, and as long as he is remembered... he lives.)
He deserves all the respect in the world for making everything seem so beautiful.

Rozz was one of a kind, an individual-a TRUE individual. His artistic accomplishments should be in museums next to Picasso and Dali, but I highly doubt that will ever happen. One thing every Rozz fan should be/already be aware of is how difficult it is becoming to get a hold of certain albums-in particular his Premature Ejaculation and spoken word material. I think all of us fans need to lobby for distribution and release of his often overlooked work in P.E. and his two wonderful spoken word albums. The record companies need to stop treating Rozz like a 'cult' musician and start releasing his more obscure musical work to the masses who are now, three years after his death, discovering his prolific career as an artist of the highest order...
(NOTE: I (Kire) would just like to add that I agree with this person 100% and I try to get people into Rozz all the time. And not just Christian Death and Shadow Project but every thing he has done, and that means his poems and image work as well. I have gotten a few people into Rozz over the years. If you guys do the same he will not be for gotten...Thanks alot to the guy who wrote in over top of this note, you seem to be one of the true fans...Kire)

Sex, Death, and Eyeliner. These are the words that come to mind when I think of the late Rozz Williams. The man was a genius, and way ahead of his time. A brilliant artist who, at least in my mind, will never be forgotton. Rozz, I hope you have finaly found peace.

Rozz Williams is (in my opinion) one of the greatest artists that have ever been around. My judge of an awesome musician is not only their work, but if they can put together an awesome collage. The first time i ever heard rozz williams was on a compilation called Darkwave with his song "Flowers" I must have lucked out because I think this may just be my favorite song of his. I wish he hadn't chosen to leave so that he could be a tortured soul a bit longer to produce some more awesome music, but i suppose that's selfish, hmm?

Its almost impossible to beleive that over 3 years have passed since Rozz chose to leave-I had the honour of meeting him 5 years ago-and it has changed me forever-love always for you Rozz-Genn.

I have been introduced to Rozz William's work through Kire. I must say that I love his work in Shadow Project the best. His work is certianly unique and unequaled, and it is a shame that he has left us so early. And to the Rozz memorial out in California, I hope my 'little' contribution has aided in making it more wonderful...
