Roppongi(
(六本木, roppongi) is a district of Minato Ward, Tokyo, Japan, mainly known for its nightlife and the presence of Western tourists and expatriates, although the vast majority of visitors are Japanese. It is in the southern portion of the circle described by the Yamanote Line, south of Akasaka and north of Azabu.

The Zojoji Temple in Shiba Park. Zojoji is the main temple of the Jodo (Pure Land) which is a sect of Buddhism.

The cemetery behind the temple has the graves of 6 of the 15 Tokugawa shoguns. I'm not sure this is one of them.

The small figures are statues of Jizobosatusu, the protector of the souls of stillborn children and the Buddhist equivalent of an angel. Mothers who have lost an unborn child may decorate one of the Jizobosatusu with baby clothes and toys.
