Foam Grip Review ] |
Foam grips, i was @ ham jam, the first one, and a fellow who goes by J.P.
King had some on his bars. Well, i tried his bike and hated his bike soooo
much, but then i realized it was because of his 3 degree head tube, but i
noticed how nice his grips were....they were just cheap cheap foam ones. so
after a week or two i found a pair @ work in the trash, perfectly new, and
nice n long. grabbed the compressor hose and me and eric shuffled them on.
Well, i'd have to say, i'll never ever go back to shit rubber grips again,
these things wear just as easyily as a regular grip, they hold to the bars
better then a regular grip, they also make my bike feel more solid. The
grips, although rumored other wise, do not soap up sweat, nor does sweet make
them slippery, it repeals the sweat and if just drips right off, i could
have my hands covered in machineing oil and still be able to grip these
grips the same damn amount. another great feature with the grips is the
friggin length, there about 6 inches long, almost good enough for a sleave
for when i have to beat the bishop to death (if you didn't get that, go,
dive into a shallow pool, you hermit of a human being) so with such length,
i can continue my grip from the out side edge of the bar where my bar end
is, all the way across the grip bar and down the side tubes!!! (notice i
didn't mention brakelevers!?!?!)
and finally, the thing that sold me the
most on the grips well, not the most the least, (ahh the wits are dead) is
that there like $5 new, hahahahaha so go, cut your damn chad degroots off,
cause he doesn't need the money, and rush to your local department store to
steal them off the bikes they got.....oh, if the ladie asks what your doing,
say, "planting a bomb" that should get you enopugh time to pull them off.
