They have said; There is But
one Mother for each of us..
But, I am Living fact that is just
not true.. For, I am one of many
who have a Special Mom...
She may not have the same color hair,
I have, nor my eyes... She may not have
the same blood, that flows through my
body.. But what she does have, is the Heart
that called me Daughter, many years ago..
I did not have to grow within her body,
for her to call me her own.
.
For, I was a foster child, sent by a
system of many...
She saw me through, her eyes of Love, she
held me with her loving arms.. Mother,
came to her as a Mommy, someone I called
mine because, I could not say mommy, when
I was young, So It always sounded like,
I was saying mine.
So, I have something to say to my Special Mom...
The Great! Woman! I call Mother!
To Mom:
We may not always have seen eye to eye..
We may not have always said the right things,
at the right time.. But, is that not what Mothers,
and Daughters do in life.. There for, you have
been the woman, that was my Mommy, The Mommy who
loved me, when the woman who left me, did not care to
see me grow.. You gave me love, and faith to make it
on my own.. You gave me Love, to grow on..
We may not have the same blood, nor bones that make a
body, but you had the Heart! to open up for a Child
in need.. I may not have grown within you, But I grew
in a much better, and needed place.
I grew, within your Heart.
And you grew within my heart, as well..
So on this day. They call Mothers Day...
I Thank! The women who gave... Life! and Love!within
there Special, and Wonderful Hearts!
Anyone can be a Mother:
But, few are Mommies...
Mommies, are the Special Ladies,
who take care of all your needs,
and never let you fail, without
being there to lend support..
Mommies, are the ones who dry
tears, Clean up, when you are sick..
Always there when life, hits you with
a bad spot..
Mommies, Love with out question, nor
judgement.. They give you, all they got
and, then get the courage to give more.
Yes! Mommies are the Special Ladies, of
our World, our center, our reason for
being the Ladies we are today!
To Mommies everywhere, May God Bless your
