Topogaphic Maps

Topographic maps are used to show a variety of information including elevation, rivers, roadways, buildings, and vegetation. Contour lines indicate elevation changes. The closer lines are to one another, the steeper the slope is. Study the map below. Where is the highest elevation? Lowest? What other information is shown on the map? Who might use topographic maps?
