While walking on the beach late one afternoon,
or early in the evening, we came across these sand castles.
They had been made by people with some sort of dream that they were trying to convey.
Even though I don't know who made them, or why, I couldn't resist
getting them on film before the tide came in and washed them away.
They're not the biggest, or even the best,
but they were somebody's fun on a summer's day on the beach,
that is now just a memory :-).
I added the 4th picture to show the detail on one of them.

These were taken in August, 2003...after my trip to California.
I just stuck them in the middle of my CA pics.
Why??? I don't know...just felt like it I guess...LOL
