I live in New York State since 1986.  Live with my husband, two stepsons (Mark, 21 @ Ithaca College & Brent, 16 a HS Junior) and my son (Chris, 12 and in Jr HS) on 2 acres with chickens we raise for eggs. Lots of pets, a craft business on the side, work three days a week now as a legal secretary, my profession since 1970. Took a few years off when Chris was born; he went to school, I went back to work. Parents still live a block from the FLHS, so I visit often. Brother Roy lives in Wyoming now with family and own business. (He graduated in 75) Still close in touch with Barbara St. John (now in Denver CO) and Ellen Bellesi (actually, she lives next door).

After College in the north country of New York State I moved to Texas. Since than I have been living in East Texas. East Texas is much like southern NJ except that it is very hot. I married a southern girl and decided to make a life in Henderson. We have one child that is married and lives in southern LA. I am a partner in my own real estate appraisal firm. We live on a little farm just outside of the city of Henderson. I would love to hear from all of my school friends. We have a lot of catching up to do.

I'm a self-employed Chief Financial Officer with several regular clients; I like consulting because it allows me to take time off to travel regularly. I still love music, but don't play piano as much as I used to; I dance a lot--everything from Hip Hop to Swing and Salsa. I love walking in the hills, swimming and taking some step classes with fancy footwork. In the past 30 years, I: received my B.A. (Philosophy), M.A. (Religion), and Ph.D. (Religion); wanted to be a professor; shifted gears, became a grantwriter on staff at nonprofits; married (18 years) and had two daughters, now 18 and 21; ran a marathon; wrote a prizewinning one-act play; got on Jeopardy (TV show); got in jeopardy; got unmarried; got married again (4 years so far) and had a son, now 2; at 40, for my midlife crisis, became a vegetarian and started my own one-person grantwriting business; and, through it all, am very happy these days! Smitty and I still live in Fair Lawn. We've been married for 25 yrs. (we can't figure out how that happened either!) We are both phys. ed. teachers and coaches. I teach in FLHS!!! Smitty teaches at The Community School in Teaneck. We have two great kids - Zack (19) a junior at Penn State - starting center fielder, and Alex (16) "almost a junior" at FLHS - plays soccer, track & baseball. Sports run our lives and we love it!  The last addition to our family is a big yellow lab named "Champ." Hello to all of our "old" classmates. We'd love to hear from you.

I am currently an Associate Dean and Professor at the University of Miami. I have two children... Andrew, 21 and Kate, 16.. I was divorced after 21 years of marriage and am now remarried to my husband, Harry, who is an engineer. I spend my free time boating, snorkeling, and fishing and love living in a tropical climate. Have a beautiful, 22 yr. old daughter graduating from college this year. I took early retirement about four years ago after managing 25 telephone companies in the Northeast from VT. Now, I’m a full professor at Norwich University in VT. I teach economics, sales management and operations management. Just do it for fun. Still play b-ball three times a week, I’m a b-ball official, volunteer at the Sugarbush ski area (skied 35 days so far this year!) That’s enough…..Jim

Mrs. Rosenberg and I regretfully and tearfully wish to inform the members of the Class of 1970 that our son, Alan, your classmate, passed away on Dec. 17, 2003. The cause of his untimely death was a heart attack. Alan had moved to Denver, CO after graduating from Rutgers, and was active in community sports programs. He leaves a son, Sam, age 17.

I haven't been to any reunions and have not kept up with anybody from F.L. as I left for the west after graduating college and haven't been back much. After years in Colorado and Hawaii we have settled (for the time being) in Eagle. I am a counselor at Boise State University and am finishing up my doctorate at the University of Idaho. My wife, Vivian, (Lodi HS class of 71) is a nursing professor and we have a 16 year old son Nick in high school. After 22 years of spinning records and otherwise enjoying my arrested development, I experienced a midlife crisis at age 40... I got married for the first time. My wife, Joy, and her daughters Heather (now a Junior at Rider... Dean's list) and Courtney (high school junior, honor roll, varsity tennis, and high maintenance) have changed my life so much for the better. Unbelievable. We live in a lakeside 1820's farmhouse that we've restored together, and I work in real estate. So much for the Woodstock generation. HELLO CLASS OF '72. I haven't been to Fair Lawn since we had to sell my parents' house. My parents moved into 0-40 Elden Place in 1947. My father died in 1990, and my mother, who died in January of this year, continued to live in the house until 1997. I got married and left for North Carolina in 1973 and have been here ever since! My husband, Obie, is a computer programmer, and I am the practice manager for Raleigh Oral Surgery. I have two kids: Jean, my 21 year old blonde-haired/blue eyed replica, is a senior at the University of North Carolina majoring in Spanish. John, my 17 year old son, is a senior at Enloe High School, and loves to fly small aircraft. I was not able to make it to the 30th reunion, but would love to hear from you, especially if you went to Warren Point or Memorial Junior High School. My very dearest high school friend, Gwen Boda, died many years ago. I still think of her often, and miss her terribly. THE TERRIBLE TRIO will live in my heart forever and ever.

Hi classmates. Just attended the 30-year reunion and was glad to get reacquainted with some of our classmates. Sorry that more of you did not attend. I have been working for 21 years at The Star-Ledger in Newark as a night metro editor. My wife is a teacher at Chancellor Academy in Lincoln Park and my two daughters, ages 22 and 19, are students at Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!). In my spare time I serve as a volunteer fireman and the wife and I travel as much as we can in our motorhome. Our daughter, Jamie, (24) received her BS at Brown University, her MS from Springfield College and will be working towards her doctorate degree in Sport Psychology at West Virginia University during the next few years. Our son, Brian, (18) will be attending Penn State next year. I am the head gymnastics coach at Manalapan High School and work at all of the athletic games there as well. I'm glad to see so many of my fellow classmates posting here..Four years ago, I was the first one of our class to post here followed closely by my husband, Jeff, also a member of the class of 72. A lot can happen in four years. Our son, Josh is now 17 and entering his senior year at FLHS.. Andrew,14, is just beginning his freshman year. having survived middle school at T.J. It's been years since both kids attended the same school. (not since Warren Point).. only this time ,Josh will be doing the driving to and from school. Both boys are taking percussion in school and will be joining marching band, I'm still working at Mountainside Hospital, respiratory therapist in Montclair, NJ. it's going on 21 years. Hi Everyone! Over the past 26 years I have lived in NJ, Chicago, and now Dallas. I worked for 20 years in the telecommunications industry as an Engineer/Designer, Inventor, Consultant, and Marketing Director for AT&T, Rockwell, and Fujitsu. I retired a few years ago and have recently directed my efforts to raising money for various arts-related causes here in Dallas. I'm still single (and still looking) for that "right" person to spend the rest of my life with. I love the outdoors and try to spend several weeks each year traveling around the country exploring. It was great to see everyone at the 25th reunion and enjoy hearing from

After leaving Fair Lawn in 1979 I did some traveling for about a year and end-up in Longmont Colorado, a small town about 40 miles north of Denver. After landscaping for almost 20 years the "aging athlete" syndrome set in and I needed to make a change. I returned to school and got a degree in Human Services, and began working as a Certified Addictions Counselor. The work could be rewarding at times, very frustrating at others, and of course we were all under paid. Maybe someday I figure out what "I want to be when I grow up". I would really like to hear from fellow alumni, especially about the 25 year reunion.

After spending 8 years abroad in the Third World, I returned to the U.S. in 1985 to Maryland to work on a Masters and stayed, then primarily worked on international health communication programs for the next 9 years using the D.C. area as my base. I am still a health communication specialist, and, after working some on national programs, returned to international issues -- but no traveling due to the kids. I married again in 2004; my new wife is the cantor of the Village Temple in Greenwich Village (Ralph Bonheim, if you see this, my wife, Kathy Barr, says hi; she remembers you from the NY Choral Society). I’ve been active in singing for the last 7 years, and am a member of the Riverdale Choral Society. Oh yeah.. in my copious spare time, I’m the step-father-thing (their words, not mine) to two teenage girls, Sara (18 ½) and Nora (14). They say “be careful what you wish for”; now I understand why. Although I left high school before graduation I still have many memories of people I went to school with from Warren Point on up. I have 2 grown children, my daughter is 27 and a personal Chef in south Florida and my son who is 24 and is a Chemical Engineer, he recently moved from N.J. to Alaska. I have been in Alaska for 6+ years now after living in south Florida for 14 years. I went to nursing school in New Jersey and graduated in 1981. I was a Pediatric Special Care nurse after graduation. In 1991 I became chronically ill and disabled with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. I am currently the Director of the Alaska CFS-MCS Association (which is a world-wide organization.) I have lobbied in Washington, met with state Senators, been on talk shows, tv news and radio in effort to bring awareness about these depilating diseases into the public light. After college I went to seminary and then pastored churches in Saskatoon, SK, Canada; Brooklyn, NY; and Eagan, MN. Hi again to everyone in the class of 73. After graduating, I did a year at Bergen Community College and then transferred to John Jay College of Criminal Justice. I followed my boyhood dream and joined the FBI. After four years, I transferred to the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. The "service" has taken me to Washington, D.C., Japan, New York, San Diego, San Francisco and the San Diego again. I'm presently on an unaccompanied tour in DC although San Diego is home to me and my family. At 19, I married the love of  my life Joanne, who graduated Pascack Valley HS in 72. We've been married 25 years. We have a 23 year old daughter who works for a San Diego Public Relations firm, and a 19 year old son who is a sophmore at San Diego State. Life has been very good. I hope it has been the same for all of you.

After FLHS I attended Rutgers College and New Jersey Medical School. Following a residency in Pediatrics, I opened a practice in Nutley, NJ. I lived in Clifton for six years and then Nutley for the next twelve years. I was divorced and moved back to Fair Lawn in 2001. My younger daughter, Alison, is a sophomore at Brandeis University after graduating from FLHS. My older daughter, Melanie, graduated Rutgers University and is teaching in a preschool, soon to be married.
Me? After a few years on the singles scene, I remarried and Brenda and I are living in Fair Lawn. It would be nice to hear from classmates and long lost acquaintances and maybe make a few new friends.

As the President of the FLHS Class of 1973, I welcome all of our fellow classmates who have discovered this website. It's difficult to imagine that 25 years have passed since graduation. I attended the University of Virginia after high school and after a two year stint as an Operations Manager for Chubb Insurance Company, I attended Seton Hall Law School, which I graduated from in 1982. After working for some large New Jersey law firms, I started my own law firm in Parsippany, NJ, which now has 8 attorneys. I specialize in real estate and corporate law. What a nice idea for a website! I graduated Rutgers (1977) and NYU (MBA, 1978) and became a CPA. I spent about 5 years traveling the world as an auditor for American Cyanamid, and about another 10 years there in financial management.  When they were swallowed whole by an even bigger company, it was time to master my own fate. I own my own insurance practice which I base out of my home. I married Heidi Joseph in 1985. We moved to Princeton in 2000 from Short Hills, and love the area. I played the string bass in FLHS, but these days I play the piano loudly, badly and for lots of fun. I'm in touch with about 15 FLHS grads, and treasure rekindling old relationships. I would love to hear from many more of my fellow alumnuses (alumni?)!

Am now an executive in worldwide sales operations. Met my wife Jeanne at IBM in '82, married in '87. Adam is now 9, Ben 7. Have remained a die-hard Packers fan, with my two sons following in my footsteps. Art never 
became my vocation, but my brother Arlen many of you knew created a successful business with his wife designing and drawing mostly superhero-like ads! Even though he lives in CT, we're still best of friends and see each other often. I've been back to Fair Lawn every couple of years or so. Just to look around, get a sense again of where I came from. Though it's changed a bit, it's mostly how I remember it. It was a wonderful place to grow up, go to school, have friends and form a foundation upon which I still draw from today. I thank all my friends from high school who helped make that part of my life a special one.

(as of Dec 2003) and have pretty much set things up to our liking so far in Maplewood, New Jersey (oh, like maybe a bathroom needs redoing, I admit.) My parents are well and still resident in Fair Lawn. I work as a lawyer in Manhattan, specializing in corporate bankruptcies. The job provides many stories but the hours are too long. I have had sightings of my old buds Lou Tamler and Bill Frank, see Joel Shapiro on occasion, and live in the same town as Jeff Wine. You wouldn't know me to see me, but I remain, like us all, true to my ways as an 18 year old to a surprising degree.

If my 6th grade daughter could identify it, she could get extra credit. I skimmed through the book to help her. How did we read that in 8th grade with Mrs. Cardillo? If anyone from 8-6, or 7-3 can answer, I'd be happy to know! I also have a son in 3rd grade. Occasionally, I quote Gary Urdang, saying "Sometimes the pursuit of the cause is better than the cause of the pursuit". Weren't we profound back then? Did Larry Friedman and Rich Weiss ever published a book of their weekly French IV dialogues? And finally, could I still tell Harriet and Carol Pekelney apart?

In August 2001, St. Martin's Press released my labor of love, Planet of the Apes Revisited, with a foreword by Charlton Heston, an in-depth history behind the motion picture series "Planet of the Apes." I've also been very involved in my local theatre company for over 20 years and was thrilled when Tony and Emmy Award-winning playwright-composer Rupert Holmes asked me to develop and direct his new comedy thriller "Thumbs," which had its world premiere in New Jersey in May 2001. Have worked in the automotive field for many years as as a Service Advisor at Jaguar, BMW, Volvo, Honda and always loved what I did. Looking to find that perfect job here in Florida. Have one son, Michael, a senior at Ohio State University, studying Pre-Vet. Med with a second major in International Studies. He is a world traveler having visited New Zealand and Hawaii; Australia for 2 summers in a row as well as Costa Rica last year where he lived in the rainforests of both countries studying reptiles and snakes in Australia, and the monkeys in Costa Rica. He is headed for Brazil this summer for some international studies. Thank goodness he is a bright student and OSU allows him to study abroad for credit, whew! Yes I am a proud Mom. My oldest son, John, is a paratrooper serving with the 82nd Airborne as a Combat Engineer and has been deployed in Iraq since February. This has definitely been the hardest thing I have had to deal with in my life. My second son, Jesse, is going to be a senior at Rutgers, and is now doing research work at the Univ. of New Orleans for the summer. How's everyone been. The 20th reunion was great. I've been living at the Jersey Shore since 1979 with my lovely wife Diane and now our 14, 10 and 4 year old kids. Can't believe it's almost time for our 30th class reunion! How time flys!!! Married to Gary for 5 years now and 20 months ago gave birth to our beautiful twin babies, Rebecca and David.
