The Recreation Committee is a group of volunteers who meet every second Wednesday of the month at Town Hall to plan activities for the residents of Green Brook.

Third Annual Volleyball Clinic

Green Brook Rec's Third Annual Volleyball Clinic for grades 6-8 for all who are interested in learning the proper skills to play volleyball at a higher level. Watchung Hills or other interested participants, please contact the instructor.

Registration fee of $20, t-shirt included. Late sign-ups are accepted. Click here for sign up and clinic dates as well as a full description of the program.

Wine Tasting

Green Brook Rec is hosting a wine tasting on May 21, 2005 at 7:00 - 9:30 PM at Wine Country in North Plainfield. A "Sideways" themed tasting will cost $20.00 a person. Pre-registration is required. Contact Staci Beegle via rec e-mail or call 732-424-1174. Seating limited.

Green Brook Hockey Club

The Green Brook Hockey Club offers games and clinics for players ages 5 through 17. Check the official site at www.greenbrookhockey.com for more information.

Green Brook Playgroup

The Green Brook recreation is looking for parents who may be interested in
running the playgroup for preschoolers. We have a facility available for Fridays and would be delighted to work with any volunteers who may like to keep the program running. If interested please call Diane Judge at 732-968-7340.

Green Brook Recreation Garden Club

We're trying to put the green back in Green Brook. The Garden Club will be planting gardens along Kafka and Green Brook Road on June 4 from 9-11. If you are interested in joining us click here for details.

First Annual 5K Run and 1 Mile Fitness Walk

Join us for our first annual 5k run for education sponsored by Green Brook Education Foundation and the Green Brook Recreation Committee to take place on Saturday, May 14, 2005. Start time will be 9:30 AM for 1 mile fitness walk and 10 am start for 5K run. Click here for more information.
