![]() Ross was the puppy who wasn't supposed to stay. I had planned to keep one puppy from the litter of 10 that I raised for Ross and Mia's breeder, and I had already chosen a scrappy girl named Mia. But there was something about this boy... Not only did he turn out to be handsome, but he is also so naturally talented on sheep that I am awestruck when I watch him. He has picturesque outruns, naturally square flanks, and he instinctively holds a beautiful line when driving. Of course he is also wonderfully sweet, and a joy to work with. Someone must have been watching over me when I listened to my heart and decided to keep Ross along with his sister! ![]() > |

Ross's 2010 Highlights:
Ross was injured at a herding trial in the spring of 2009, so he was unable to work the rest of the season. Thanks to intensive rehab at Aqua Dog Rehab in Flanders, NJ, Ross came back in 2010 and finished his AKC herding championship with a 3-point major and Reserve High in Trial (tied for HIT) under Judge Sheryl McDonald from Texas.
