Gilt Brass Front Spun Bone Back French Officer's 77th Regt Rev. War Coat Button

Beautiful gilt brass front with a spun bone or wood reverse French officer's 77th regiment coat button. The reverse has its original cord attachment. I am 90% sure the back is spun bone, but it could be spun wood. The aged patina is dark and it is hard to be 100% certain. It is a great button regardless. It shows some light highpoint use wear and measures 25 mm's in diameter. $295
