                                        Virtual Tour (page 3)

As you move back towards the entrance, you will go past the new swamp between the main line and the ramp track to the middle level.  The swamp is nearly finished; all it really needs are the finishing touches.  The operator directly in front of you is the main line operator.  He is usually the boss, and decides when trains come up or go down to the other areas of the layout.  Just behind and below the main line operator is Madison station.  This station is a scale reproduction of the former Erie, now New Jersey Transit station in Westwood, New Jersey.  This is a transfer point between the main level and the middle level.  There are four tracks for passenger trains, and three tracks for freight trains.
