BIO

With a repuataion of being a player that never worked to his potential, Andy Williams decided to prove everyone wrong when he came to the MetroStars. He immediately made an impact on the team. The Metros no longer had a tough time bring the ball to the forwards. He opened up the field with his dazzling ball dribbling skills. He finished the first half the of the seasons with 2 goals, and 10 assists with the MetroStars.

Williams played with the Crew, Fusion F.C. and the Revolution before coming to New York. He only started playing in MLS after his campain in the 1998 World Cup representing Jamacia. Once he joined the team (CREW), he sent an MLS record of 8 consecutive game recording an assist. He registered a point in 9 of the 13 games he played in, as well as 4 assists in the playoffs.

Andy had an off season in 1999 on assisting on 3 goals for 3 total points on the season. He also played for Jamaica in the Pan-Am games in Winnipeg. He was credited with 2 assists in 3 postseason games.

Williams was shipped off once more, this time to the Revolution. He scored 4 goals and assisted on 4 more in 20 MLS games. He was called up to play for the Jamaican National Team 6 times.
