Martin Luther King Jr. School #6 Drama Club

The Martin Luther King Jr. School # 6 Drama Club, in its sixth full year, it's the after-school program that takes center stage!

The primary goal of the MLK Drama Club is, to provide opportunities for our students to further develop and showcase their performing arts skills and talents through dramatic presentations, thus enhancing their reading, speaking, and listening skills, which can be applied in their classrooms.

The secondary goal of the MLK Drama Club is, to instill within our students a stronger sense of self-pride, self-confidence, character, responsibility and teamwork, through self-expression and creativity, which can be applied in their daily lives.

All participants are required to display good citizenship, maintain passing grades, and demonstrate positive behavior in school.

Currently, The Drama Club consists of 15 students from Grades 4-6, with a waiting list! They are very busy and excited preparing for their upcoming spring performance of, "Charlie and The Chocolate Factory".

The students' continuous dedication and hard work combined with the support from our Wonderful school and community, this year's play is sure to be an Extraordinary Success!

The MLK School 6 Drama Club meets each Tuesday and Thursday, after school, from 3:00 to 4:00 PM.
