CHRISTOPHER A. KIRKPATRICK

Chris was born in Clarion, Pennsylvania in the year 1971. His mom, Bev, was sixteen when he was born, and his father left them when Chris was only six months old. Chris was very poor. His mom was on wealfare. When Chris was in sixth grade he won the part of Oliver in the high school play, OLIVER.It was the lead role! In school Chris was put into the free lunch program because he didn't have enough money. Every time he went to lunch he was expected to say "free lunch". It was too embarassing for him so he spent the lunch period in the gym playing basketball, alone. Bev knew that she had to get off of wealfare so she went back to college and kept 3 jobs. It was very important to Chris.When it came time for Chris to go to college he moved down to florida to be with his dad and go to Valencia college. He studied music.He wanted to become a singer, but he cared more about making sure that his mom and sisters were taken care of.He worked for the Hollywood high tunes in orlando. One day Lou Pearlman came to the park where Chris was singing. He was into the whole boy band thing and he really liked Chris. So he told Chris that if he got a group together than Lou would finance them.

JUSTIN R. TIMBERLAKE

Justin was born in Memphis, Tennessee in the year 1981.When he was little he used to sing harmony to the radio. At age 7 Justin and a couple friends from school started a sort of new kids on the block group where they would imitate them. By that time he already knew what he wanted to do with the rest of his life.He wanted to sing. His mom, Lynn, put him in voice lessons. He wanted to enter a beauty pagent so he did. He ended up wining and he was so surprised that he cried. He then went on star search, but lost to a little girl. Star search and the mickey mouse club were filmed in the same building and he really wanted to try out for the show. His try out song was "when a man loves a women". He made the mickey mouse club. It was the best thing that ever happened to him. He was so excited. When the mickey mouse club was cancelled he was devastated. He got a call from Chris saying that he was starting a group. Lynn sent Chris a tape of Justin on the mmc. Justin was in the group and he told Chris about JC.

JOSHUA S. CHAZES

Josh was born in Washington DC in the year 1976. He was always a very shy boy. He would sing within his family but that was it. He had a good ear. He could remeber songs from the radio. He first started to get involved with his peers when he was 12. He asked his friend to teach him how to dance. He was in a Star Power competition with a bunch of other kids and they won!After that his mom, Karen, found the ad for the mmc audition.He went there and the guy told him to come and sing for him. Josh was very nervous with so many people around so they cleared out the room and when they turned on the camera, Josh loved that camera.He sang Richard Marc's "right here waiting". He made it on the 1st audition.He was surprised. He didn't know how naturally talented he was. He actually thought he sucked.There was already a Josh on the show so they used his initials JC. After the show was cancelled he got a call from Justin saying that Chris was starting a group and he wanted JC in it. JC wasn't sure because he was gonna go to college but his dad, Roy, told him he should do it. He was in.

JOESEPH A. FATONE JR.

Joey was born in brooklyn, New York in 1977. His father, Joey Sr. , was in a band himself and there was always a lot of music in his house. Joey Sr. worked in Manhatten and by the time he got home Joey was already born. He was smaller than the other kids but he was also very talented. He went to catholic school and he was very fidgetty so he always got in trouble. He was known as a class clown. When he graduated he moved to Florida with his family. They were amazed by how clean it was there. Joey went to high school with a bunch of the kids from the mmc. One girl, he had a crush on in new york. He was still a class clown. He was in a music group with 3 other boys. They did a bunch of like shows. His favorite class was chorus. He was in all the plays like west side story, music man, and etc. In one play he played McDougph(not sure the spelling). In the last sceen he was suposed to fight McBeth. But they made a mistake and the boy that played McBeth hit Joey. Joey was rushed to the hospital. He was okay though. His last play was called"Damn Yankees". Joey's dad finally realized how special Joey really was. Joey didn't go to college. He went to work as a warewolf in the Beetle juice graveyard review. One day Justin, JC, and Lou went to watch the show and they liked Joey. They met Joey in a club and told him that he was in.

James L. Bass

Lance was born in Laurel, Mississippi in the year 1979. He never liked the name James so he had people call him Lance.He moved to Clinton, Mississippi in the 5th grade. His voice changed at a very younge age. He had a good deep voice. He was in chorus and in a choir. Lance was also in Attache which is like a big sort of preformance type group.One night he came home and his mom,Diane, told him that Justin Timberlake's mom called and they wanted Lance to come down and try out for their group. It turned out that Lance had the same vocal coach that Justin had.Lynn said that they really needed a base singer. Diane had serious doubts;she didn't want to let her son go.Lynn called about 3 more times during the evening. So he went down to Orlando, sang with the guys, and he was in the group.Lance took the place of Jason who was also a base singer but he never wanted to become a popstar. Sooooooo...*NSYNC was born!!!!
