This page contains pictures of some of the Apparatus lost in the WTC Tragedy and also some of the memorials held for the Fallen Brothers and Sisters.

This is one of 2 pics from a memorial service for Capt. Thomas Moody, FDNY Haz-mat 1, in Setauket, NY today. The pictures are of a memorial arch along Nicholls Road near Setauket Station 3. 26 Aerials, 25 ladders and 1 tele-squrt, formed the arch with flags for over 3 hours before, during
and after the service. It was a breathtaking tribute, kudos to everyone who participated.

The following are Rescue units that FDNY lost on Sept 11th, 2001. Res4cuE was the only mainline apparatus that was still operational. The City for a while was only covered by Res4cuE but some of the other Rescue companies were placed back in service with backup apparatus. 5 new Rescue units are currently on order. These are original pictures. The men on these apparatus that day also perished in the tragedy.
