Get to Know Him
Now about spiritual gifts (a present - a giving - natural ability), I do not want you to be ignorant(1Corinthians 12:1).
Paul wrote these words to the Corinthians, to let them understand who they are and what they are supposed to do in the Kingdom of GOD, if you read the first chapter, second verse of 1Corinthians ("To the church of GOD in Corinth, to those sanctified in CHRIST JESUS and called to be holy, together with all those everywhere who call on the name of our LORD JESUS CHRIST - their LORD and ours:") then you see that the people he addressed these knowledge for the Body of CHRIST, for their maturity and knowledge grouth.
"There are different kinds of gifts(a present - a giving - natural ability), but the same SPIRIT. There are different kinds of services ( a serving ), but the same LORD. There are different kinds of working, but the same GOD works all of them in all men.
Now to each one the manifestation of the SPIRIT is given for the common good. To one there is given through the SPIRIT the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowlege by means of the SPIRIT, to another faith by the same SPIRIT, to another gifts of healing by that one SPIRIT, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distingushing berween spirits, to another speaking in differents kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongue. All these are the work of one and the same SPIRIT, and he gives them to each one just as he determines." 1Corinthians 12:7-11
Each one of us need to know that when we receive JESUS as our Savior, we became part of the Kingdon of GOD, the Kingdom is the Great Work, our FATHER in Heaven is the one who owes all the Work, but all power in Earth and Heaven has been given to our LORD JESUS CHRIST, now we are under his Services, Jesus has distributed for everyone services to be done, but we are enabled to do the Service only by the HOLY SPIRIT, for HE gives us the Gifts needed to accomplish everything we are to do.
Therefore brothers as Pauls said to the Corinthians, I say unto you, be not ignorant about the Gifts of THE SPIRIT.
