Faith is a very important part of life. Many people deny this, yet cling to things that can only be held by faith. Is there a conflict or irreconcilable difference between philosophy, religion, science, good sense, clear thinking, faith? For those who think there are conflicts or that people who pay attention to the Creator of the universe are wrong, I challenge you to think it through and then form your own opinion. Of course, if your conclusion is like mine, you will be forced to change your life's direction if you wish to keep your intellectual integrity. I figure it's like insurance: I have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism, but under the name of liberalism they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program until one day America will be a socialist nation without ever knowing how it happened." - Norman Thomas, six-time Socialist Party presidential candidate and one of the founders of the ACLU.
