An hilarious satirical comedy about power, intrigue and footy. Laurie,
the embattled coach, is learning the hard way about surviving football.
He's being pressured to resign for lack of on-field success. Opposing him
is Gerry, the tight-fisted administrator and Ted, the new president who
knows more about meat pies than about sport.
On Laurie's side are the players: Danny, just past his prime and Geoff, the wayward wonder boy, who's been brought in to save the club. Jock, ex-star player, ex-coach and ex-president is everybody's friend. But with friends like Jock who needs enemies?
