When Morning Breaks

When morning breaks, I am surrounded
By infinitely more love than this soul can bear.
I dive into a love that covers all abomination
With the glory of His light.
Light shining over every darkness imaginable,
Light breaking every mortal pain
With the truth of His resurrection and power.
I find the darkness dissolves into You
And I am no longer afraid or alone.
In Your presence I find the voice
To give You the praise and glory You wholly own,
Your guidance prepares me for the roads I am unsure of,
The paths my feet crave to stumble down.
For all grace and hope spring from the river of Your love
And I am consumed by the flowing of Your mercy.
Let not in trials and darkness, my sin take hold,
But Your ways ever be the voice that leads me,
Ever insistent of Your arms enfolding.
Preparing me to conquer all, for in sin there is death.
I grasp the hem of Your robes
and cling to the life You freely give.
