Luke the Warrior. His name says it all. He was wise, determined, but above all he was loving. Luke loved his son, Martin, as well as everybeast in his tribe. When that dreaded night came when his wife, Sayna, was killed along with many others by the evil searats comanded by Vilu Daskar, Luke swore revenge on the scum. All through his perilous journey Luke thought of his lost son and hoped to be back with him soon, but not before he had slain Vilu, who had cost Luke his love. Luke the Warrior was a true warrior, right down to the very end. This is why he received this award. (by Windpaw Swiftarrow)
Mattimeo
The book Mattimeo tied with Martin the Warrior for best Redwall book. MY FAVORITE BOOK IN THE SERIES IS MATTIMEO. THIS BOOK IS THE KIND THAT YOU DON'T WANT TO PUT DOWN, AND IT IS A DISAPOINTMENT WHEN YOU FINISH IT BECAUSE THE READER WANTS THE BOOK TO GO ON FOREVER. MATTIMEO IS VERY DESCRIPTIVE AND IT HAS SOMETHING THAT I SAW THAT WAS NOT IN ANY OTHER BOOK THAT I HAVE READ IN THE REDWALL SERIES OR ANY OTHER BOOK FOR THAT MATTER, IT WAS THE ACT OF GROWING. MATTIMEO GREW NOT IN PHYSICAL FORM BUT MENTAL. HE WENT FROM A LITTLE CHILD TO A YOUNG WARRIOR. THIS CHANGE HAS NEVER BEEN WITTNESSED BY ME BEFORE AND THATS WHY I ELECT THIS BOOK AS MY FAVORITE REDWALL BOOK. (by Windpaw Swiftarrow)
