John Chisum's South Spring Ranch

These photos were taken at John Chisum's old South Spring ranch site in 1995. The Regulators stopped here and stayed the night on March 8, 1878 after capturing Morton and Baker, two members of the posse that killed their employer and friend John Tunstall. Most of these buildings I photographed probably date back to Billy's time.
