Chapter 17: “I need u tonight”
Kathy sighed softly as she headed into her condo. she unpacked and left lexana on the bed to sleep some more. all of a sudden she heard the phone ring. she ran to the phone, but before she picked it up, she saw the caller id had said “McLean A”. she knew it was aj on his cell, so she decided not to pick it up. he left a message on the answering machine, he said, “kathy when u get home please call me we need to talk about this, im extremely sorry, and i hope u will forgive me, love u bye,” he finished. “love my fucking ass u loser love love love whateverrrr!” she yelled to herself. she laid herself down on the pillow and fell asleep.
~*the next day*~
Kathy woke up the next day to a ringing door bell. she answered it and the postal man said, “miss kathy?” “that’ll be i” she responded. “these are for u,” he said as he handed her a two dozen half red half white roses, “they’re from a mr. aj mclean,” he said. “thanks,” she said as she smiled and closed the door. she placed them on the counter and read the note. it said, “im sorry baby please forgive me, i know i screwed up but im very truly sorry please please forgive me i dont wanna lose u nor lexa.......love always AJ,” she sighed softly as she heard lexana cry, “coming sweetie,” she said as she headed towards the room. Kathy showered lexana and decided to take lexana to go see her grandma. she called her mom and asked if she could take care of lexana for a while because she needed time to think. her mother agreed, so kathy and lexana headed for her house.
*later*
she cried on the way back to her condo, and thought about what she was doing, “its the right thing to do,” she whispered softly to herself. she opened the door to her condo and saw a man sitting on her couch. he slowly turned around and she recognized him, “what are u doing here?” she said in an evil voice. “kathy im sorry please listen to me u have to understand,” he started. it was aj pleaded for forgiveness in tears. she closed the door behind her and walked towards him. she stood behind the couch as he held her hands. “im sorry baby..ill change i thought about it hard, and i dont wanna lose u or lex, im really sorry,” he cried as he buried his face in her hands. she walked around the couch and sat next to him as her eyes bubbled with water. she slowly took her arms and held him. he sighed softly and serenaded her with the song “i need u tonight” nick’s solo. that made her cry even harder.
“open up ur heart to me and say whats on ur mind i know that we have been through so much babe...but i still need u in my life this time...i need u tonight i need u right now, i know deep within my heart it doesnt matter if its wrong or right, i really need u tonight....i figured out what to say to u sometimes the words they come out sooo wrong.....oh yes they doo, and i know at times that u will understand....than what we have is so right this time....i need u tonight i need right now...i know deep within my heart it doesnt matter if its wrong or right....all those endless times we tried to make it last forever more..and baby i know i neeed uuuuuu..i know deep within my heart it doesnt matter if its wrong or right, really need uu oooooooooh......”
he finished.
“baby i love u so much promise u wont leave me ok?” he said. “i love u too hunnie, and i will never leave u....” she ended the conversation with a kiss.
