Extreme Lazer Tag: This is virtually the only decent Lazer Tag in Albuquerque. Planet Fun had it's version of Lazer tag, but it got boring real quick. But what Hinkle has done with it's arena gives new meaning to the game. This is perfectly constructed to where there are many knoocks and crannies to hide in and shoot unsuspecting enemies. It might also punish you for doing that same task by shoting you with one of Hinkle's lazer pods hidden throughout the course. There are also bases that you must defend. When I went into it, I expected practically nothing from my experience at Planet Fun. But I was blown away. One of the best attractions in Albuquerque and a must for anybody looking for great family fun. And as an added bonus, they even give you a printed out scoresheet with your total score broken down.

Price: $6.00 for one mission, but multi-packs also exist for purchase.
Nickle City: This area says that games only cost a nickle, but a lot of all the good games charge you up to 40 cents per game! Some of the games are free, but they are terrible but good for killing time. There is also a two-dollar cover charge to get into nickle city, which is sort of a rip-off. Most of the games are from 1980, and about 20% don't work at one time or another. Fine for wasting time, but don't plan your trip to Hinkle around this attraction. The arcade in the upper building is better.

Price: $2.00 cover charge to get in, and games range from free to 40 cents.
Virtual Reality Pods: This attraction is located to your right as you go into the building. The ride puts you in the center of machine warfare, with you controling one of the pods. The game can get confusing to smaller children and technology-prone adults. This game also gives you a scoring sheet, but it's also hard to understand. Here is a link to a manual to control the pods. I wouldn't recommend this to anybody who isn't into computers to much, because the game didn't catch me until about 2 minutes were left in the game, when I was already guarenteed a loss.

Bumper Cars: These are the worst bumper cars that I have ever seen, hands down. You don't even get to control the car with a steering wheel. You control the car with two giant sticks that are supposed to make it fun. These cars are confined to an extremely small area, which makes the fun grow old fast. The only thing that I like about these bumper cars are that you don't have to make those goofy laps to avoid head-on collisions. If they are called bumper cars, they shouldn't try to discourage you to not bump in to one another!

Price: $5.00 per ride, but it's a waste of money anyways.
Hinkle Arcade: This arcade has been up since the opening of Hinkle a while back. This is the typical arcade, with some new games and some old games and the classic Skee-Ball games too. The games range from anywhere from 25 cents to $1.00. This is a pretty cool arcade, and good to waste time in, but it's nothing special and shouldn't be something to spend to much time in.

Miniture Golf: This mini-golf is definelty the best in Albuquerque. But the only problem is that it doesn't have too much competition to compete with. The only other two places that Hinkle has to compete with are Highland Swing and Putt-Putt golf and games. These are not exceptional golf courses. But Hinkle has average difficulty, with average scenery and overall average score make this your, well, average mini golf course.

Bumper Boats: These bumper boats are about the only ones you will find in the state of New Mexico, much less in Albuquerque. These suit the need for families to combat one another in watery fun, but these aren't fun for very long. One ride on them will hold you until the next visit. What I like about these bumper boats is the waterfall that you can bump people into to get them soaking wet. Other than that, it's the same old tired ride.

Go Karts: This is the reason to go to Hinkle Family Fun Center. These may look like a normal go kart ride that you may seen in your hometown. But these go karts are the best that I have ever been on, in Albuquerque or not. But they almost never got around to building them. The residents to the apartments next to Hinkle thought that they would make so much noise that they couldn't sleep. But Hinkle got to build them anyways and they have taken off. These Go-Karts have a scoreboard to let you know your time when you are done. This is almost like racing like Al Unser jr., who the race track is named after. One of the best go-kart rides anywhere you might live.
