Bernalillo
Bernilillio is a town about 20 minutes from Albuquerque. It serves as Albuquerque's farming connection, because little farming occurs near Albuqueruqe.
There is not much to do in Bernalillo. But they do have a great folk art store called Jackalope where you can "buy folk art by the truckload." You can also make a visit down to the Range Cafe, where they specialize in All-American food. You can also gamble at Santa Ana Star Casino, of play a round of golf on their superb golf course.
Other than that, and the fact that McDonalds has a cool play maze, that's basically all there is to do in Bernalillo. Sorry. But this would make a fun day trip if you were in the mood to see a more cultural side of Albuquerque.
