Seasonal Activities in Albuquerque
In this section, we will give you the low-down on what's happening in town during the season. Weather it be the balloon fiesta or the luminaria walk in old town, it will be in this section to help you decide on planning something special this month. Snowboarding
One of the things to do during the winter in Albuquerque is try snowboarding at Sandia Peak. Sandia Peak is the perfect place to learn snowboarding. Their classes are very cheap, they have a very nice beginner hill, and the instructors are patient and nice to be around. You can rent a snowboard at one of the numerous ski shops around town. The one I think is the best is called The Wintermill. They are located at 2225 Wyoming NE, Suite A, in the Hoffmantown shopping center on Menaul. There, you can buy all of your lift tickets, rent any type of snowboard you like, or just shop for some new ski clothes.
