The cottages opposite Burnt Oak.My father Peter lived at Burnt Oak, Kidlington, Oxfordshire, as a boy. During the Second World War, he produced a series of linocuts such as this one, mostly of views of Kidlington and the surrounding area, and made a book out of them ('dedicated to our American Friends'), called -- a KIDLINGTON VIGNETTE The copy I have before me says -- printed at Canvey Island, Essex. 1944
