Michael used to be known for his curly shoulder-length hair but in mid-98 he shed the locks (much to the dismay of many a fan) and his hair has remained cropped and spiked since then. He has hazel eyes and adorably imperfect teeth that make his smile all the more desirable.
Family:
Michael's brother is fellow HN Member Andrew. The two also have a sister, Margeret, who was Miss Australia in 1995 and can now be seen annually in the Sydney Christmas pagent. His parents are Wendy, a musci teacher and James, a customs officer.
Marital Status:
Michael recently married long-time girlfriend Andrea [sister to Andrew's wife!] in December 2001.
BONUS FACTS
- When the group started out over 10 years ago Mike was only 12, he was much shorter than the other members and had to stand on a stool to sing in public.
- Mike was in the band before his voice broke and used to sing male soprano! (That's very very high)
- When the 4Trax decided to change their name to get a record deal, it was Michael who thought of the name 'Human Nature' (other names they considered include: 'Farenheight' and 'Crush'!)
