"I was born and raised in the San
Francisco bay area. I started playing
music when I was very young. I used to
"punish" my Great Grandfathers piano,
because I was so fascinated with it, and
any other instrument that I could get my
hands on. I actually started out playing
guitar in junior high, but was always
completely drawn in by the drums. Once I
got my first set, I never looked back. I
still play a little guitar and piano
whenever I can.
I get influences from all over, and from
other drummers. I really, at this point
just listen to the melody and lyric
rhythms, and attempt to highlight those
qualities of the song (as well of laying
down the fattest groove that I can!).
My philosophy towards music is
basically, give the people what they
want. Don't try to preach to them too
much. Just have a great time, the rest
will take care of itself.
