I designed and built my front and rear bumpers. They both are made of 2x6 3/16" thick steel tubing. The front has two Hella's, a receiver, and serves as an auxiliary air tank. The rear bumper has a drop-down spare tire, extra reverse lights, receiver and has 1/4" steel to protects the lower rear corner. Both are coated with Gator Guard which is a epoxy based bedliner material. Total cost to me was less than $100
Currently our XJ has a 3" Rough Country suspension that I have modified to 4". I run 31x10.5 Yokohama Geolander M/T tires on stock rims. These tires are really cool because they are a Mud Terrains but because of their directional tread they are quiet on the road (quieter than my previously owned 31" BFG A/T) and they are self cleaning and have a high treadwear rating. I also made a custom aluminum air intake tube and added a K&N filter. I made swaybar disoconnects and adjustable, ultra-articulating lower control arms. I recently added Mopar skid plates that I purchased from a wrecking yard for $25 and I made my own Rock Rails and Throttle body spacer.
Future Plans include 4.10 gears, Limited Slip Differential.
