Barbie Pattern Vintage BENEFIT PERFORMANCE 1966
This pattern was designed to fit Barbie and other 11-1/2" fashion dolls and is from my Aileen's Petite Fashions collection.
Stunning! Magnificent! Just two of any number of words which describe this stunning, elegant ballgown from 1966 (APF-81). First is the red velvet tunic lined with taffeta. The fitted bodice is accented with two rhinestones above the flared skirt. The underskirt is both skirt and slip, with layers of white tulle over white taffeta trimmed with lace. Tiny red bows are the perfect accent!
This design was originally drafted by Aileen's Petite Fashions. The pattern includes a sketch and typed instructions as originally done by Aileen, with pattern pieces drawn by hand and printed on 8˝" x 11" white paper. Pattern is three pages. I've added a 6" x 9" white envelope with Aileen's photo featured on the front. Please note that while this pattern reflects the original design, it is a similar but not exact reproduction. APF patterns are available exclusively from Mini-Fashion Boutique.
