The original Black Magic in black silk or taffeta was released in 1964. Now you can recreate this stylish vintage fashion in any color you like! My sample is shown in royal blue

This simple yet elegant couture design is more than just a basic black dress. The strapless fitted sheath features a back zipper (with alternate instructions for snaps if you prefer). The sheer tulle coat/cape is trimmed with satin ribbon. All the details of the vintage! This is one vintage design that works in many different colors—dare to go beyond black!

This pattern is a complete re-design of APF-87 which was originally part of my Aileen’s Petite Fashions collection. My goal is always a perfect fit, especially if it’s for vintage, and clear, precisely-drawn pattern pieces with a separate illustrated instruction booklet. The pattern pieces are precisely drawn by hand and printed on 8˝" x 11" and 11” x 17” white paper. Pattern comes in a 6" x 9" white envelope with color photo on the front.
