GENUINE SEARS MINK STOLE REPRO
NEW Fashion Reproduction from MFB

I was privileged to have access to a REAL vintage "Genuine Mink Stole," a Sears exclusive in 1964-1965, owned by a friend of mine. Because of this indescribable fortune, I was able to reproduce the exact details of the complex construction of this marvelous treasure! She had it in her collection for several years and was recently forced to sell it, and I was so pleased to be able to replace it with a reproduction that she said eased her loss.

The original color of the mink stole was called autumn haze although some color variations are known to exist. It was lined in tan silk, laminated to the inside of the mink. The original cost was $9.99 when it was introduced in the 1964 Sears catalog, and in 1965 was reduced in price to $7.99. One recently sold on ebay for $3,545!!! Pictures below show my friend's stole that I used to create my reproductions:

At present I have a choice of two colors in real mink (recycled in excellent condition) -- a rich honey color and a lighter, creamy color. These variations illustrate "Vintage Varieties™"—an MFB exclusive line, recreating vintage items in a variety of dynamic colors.
