Mask Purposes
ALL NIGHT MASK: This mask will let you stay up for all of Anju's Grandma's stories. When she is done with one of her stories, answer one of the questions. One of them will give you a heart piece. For the "Carnival of Time" story, i think the answer is "Carnival of TIme". For the second story, it is "I Dunno".
BLAST MASK: This mask will take place of bombs. If you are out of bombs, put on the BLAST MASK. It will take away 1/2 heart of damage for each explosion. To keep your health, hold your shield up and press B.
BREMEN MASK: This mask is needed to get you the BUNNY HOOD. Go to Romani Ranch during the day (you may be able to go at night, but just go during the day). Go to the Cuckoo Shack place at the far north end. HOLD B and walk around until you get all the little yellow things. They will start to become big cuckoos. Talk to the guy in the middle and he will reward you.
BUNNY HOOD: This mask makes you run faster than normal. It also makes you jump farther. This can be useful in many places such as the Southern Swamp Spider House. I don't think you need this mask, but to get the FIERCE DIETY'S MASK, you do. Plus, it just helps to have it.
CAPTAIN'S HAT: This mask (or hat) lets you talk to Stallchildren. You need this for the song of storms and a bottle. You don't need the bottle, but you do need the song of storms.
CIRCUS LEADER'S MASK: This mask will help you get the ROMANI MASK, although you need the ROMANI MASK to get it, so this mask is pretty much pointless.
COUPLE'S MASK: This mask will get you a heart piece. Go to Mayor Dotour's office during the day on the first or second day. Talk to him while the argument is going on. He will end the talk and give you a heart piece. Pretty lame for all the work in getting it.
DON GERO MASK: This mask has no real point. The only point I have heard of is go and beat the Snowhead boss, Goht. Then, go and find all the little frogs and talk to them with this mask on. One is in Southern Swamp, another is in the Woodfall Temple after beating the Gekko. A third is right there when you beat the Snowhead Temple and get warped back to Mountain Villiage. A fourth is in the Great Bay Temple when you beat the Gekko, and the last is in Laundry Pool. I have no clue what happens when they bunch together in Mountain Villiage, but it must be for a heart piece.
GARO MASK: This mask is used to summon Garo out of the ground. When you defeat a Garo, they will give you a hint on something. These hints are not very useful, but you might get help out of them. You also need this mask to get to Ikana Canyon. Just wear it in front of the weird guy with a stick and he will let you come up.
GIANT MASK: This mask makes you really big. The down side is that you can only use it when fighting Twinmold. This mask takes some magic too, so just have some green potions with you.
GIBDO MASK: This mask lets you talk to Gibdos. Under the well, they ask for stuff. Just give them what they want and you will get through.
GREAT FAIRY MASK: This mask makes stray faries come to you. When you get 15 in a dungeon and bring them back to the Great Fairy, you get something special. In the Woodfall Temple, you get a bigger magical blast when you do the spin attack. The Snowhead one doubles your magic meter. The Great Bay Temple fairy will give you double defense. Lastly, the Stone Tower Temple will give you the Great Fairy Sword.
